Ahead of the Croatian national team’s training session at Rujevica on Friday, U.S. Ambassador to Croatia Nicole McGraw paid a visit to the Vatreni.
The ambassador posed for photographs with the Croatian players and head coach Zlatko Dalić and proudly held a signed Croatia national team jersey bearing the number 47, symbolizing the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump, during whose administration she was appointed ambassador.
On behalf of the Croatian national team, captain Luka Modrić thanked Ambassador McGraw for her visit. Prior to that, she spoke with head coach Dalić and the national team’s technical director, Stipe Pletikosa.
