Tomaško and Pletikosa at UEFA TEP Meeting in Berlin

Croatian Football Federation General Secretary Dr Josip Tomaško and Technical Director Stipe Pletikosa attended a meeting of UEFA’s TEP programme in Berlin, which brings together senior representatives of European national football associations to discuss key issues concerning the future of European football.

The meeting began with opening addresses by UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin and host Bernd Neuendorf, President of the German Football Association, followed by a discussion on current developments and issues related to FIFA.

The second part of the meeting focused on topics of particular importance to national football associations, including principles for the future distribution of revenue from European Championships and the future of national team competitions. Particular attention was paid to the European Qualifiers system and the UEFA Nations League after 2028, as well as the work of UEFA’s National Team Football Board.

The agenda also included topics proposed by the national associations themselves, including the international match calendar, with a focus on the feasibility of playing four national team matches during a single international window, issues concerning the behaviour of participants in football at grassroots level, and the final recommendations of the working group on gender equality.
