Croatia to host 2017 UEFA European U17 Championship!

On Monday, UEFA Executive Committee in Nyon selected Croatia to host 2017 UEFA European U17 Championship.
Croatia will host this tournament for the first time, and UEFA Executive Committee decision comes after quality preparations, analysis and Croatian Football Federation bid.
According to the new format, 16 of the best European teams will meet in Croatia, with Croatia being the automatic qualifiers as the host nation.
In the past, Croatia hosted the final tournament of the UEFA Regions Cup, and in 2017 it will make its debut as the host of a European Championships.

On Tuesday (13:00 CET), executive president Damir Vrbanović and technical director Romeo Jozak will present the Croatian bid and the final tournament which will major benefit the Croatian football, but also the country as a whole.
UEFA Executive Committee has reached a decision on the following tournaments' hosts:
Uefa Futsal Euro 2018: Slovenia
2014/15 UEFA Futsal Cup: Sporting Clube de Portugal
2015-17 UEFA European U-21 Championships: Poland
2016/17 UEFA European U-19 Championships: Georgia
2017/18 UEFA European U-19 Championships: Finland
2017/18 UEFA European U-17 Championships: England
2016/17 UEFA Women European U-19 Championships: Northern Ireland
2017/18 UEFA Women European U-19 Championships: Switzerland
2016/17 UEFA Women European U-17 Championships: Czech Republic
2017/18 UEFA Women European U-17 Championships: Lithuania
