Technical Director Stipe Pletikosa and HNS Head Instructor Petar Krpan took part in a workshop of the World Football Federation FIFA in Rabat.
The day after the final of the African Cup of Nations, Rabat in Morocco hosted a knowledge-exchange workshoporganized by FIFA and the African Football Confederation (CAF), attended by representatives of several European and African football associations. Among the European associations were Croatia, Switzerland, Iceland, Turkey, and Poland, while African associations included Morocco, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, Cape Verde, and Chad.
The Croatian Football Federation (HNS) was represented by Technical Director Stipe Pletikosa, who oversees the senior and U-21 national teams, and Petar Krpan, HNS Head Instructor.

At the workshop in Rabat, with the support of Krpan, Pletikosa delivered a presentation on the development of national teams and spoke about the work of the Croatian Football Federation, the selection process, and the operations of Croatian clubs.
“Once again, I can express my satisfaction with taking part in a workshop that gives us the opportunity to exchange experiences with other federations and see how they deal with various challenges in their work. Once again, we were able to see how much our work is recognized and appreciated around the world - a respect that is a source of pride for all of us who work in Croatian football and who are responsible for the results and successes we achieve together. Medals at World Cups are the most visible and significant achievement, but at such a technical workshop we saw how colleagues from other federations, as well as FIFA officials, value everything we do in development, selection, and overall work with young players, in which many see us as a role model from whom they want to learn as much as possible,” Pletikosa said.
The workshop was also attended by FIFA President Gianni Infantino, to whom the book Hrvatska škola nogometa (The Croatian Football School) was presented. The book was edited by Petar Krpan and Ivan Krakan, and leading Croatian clubs Dinamo Zagreb, Hajduk Split, Rijeka, and Osijek - recognized as the backbone of Croatian football quality - were actively involved in its creation.
