The Croatian Football Federation (HNS) proudly supports the initiative to mark February 15th as both the international and national day for children affected by malignant diseases.
This day aims to raise awareness about the life-threatening illnesses that impact children. During the 22nd round of the SuperSport Croatian Football League, at the matches between Dinamo and Gorica, as well as Istra and Hajduk, referees and players stepped onto the field wearing special t-shirts with golden ribbons, the symbol of the fight against cancer. This gesture aims to draw attention to the importance of early disease recognition and treatment, which can save lives.

Additionally, at the matches between Šibenik and Lokomotiva, Varaždin and Slaven Belupo, and Osijek and Rijeka, visuals will be displayed on the scoreboards to remind spectators of the significance of this day and the ongoing fight against malignant diseases.
The Croatian Football Federation and the SuperSport Croatian Football League provide support to the Krijesnica Association, which assists children diagnosed with cancer and their families. Together, our goal is to create a community that understands the challenges faced by children undergoing cancer treatment. Through our collective efforts, we aim to foster an environment that supports our Krijesnice and all those battling cancer. We encourage everyone to learn how they can help, offer support to the children and families in their fight, and show them they are not alone.
