The Croatian Football Federation (HNS) organized its last selection activity for girls of 2021 - the winter selection tournament - in Medulin. The tournament was funded through the FIFA Forward Development Fund.
Five teams from Croatia's five football centers participated in the tournament, with all of the teams reflecting the significant growth in women's and girls' football in Croatia.
Mia Gavrić (Rijeka FC) took the title of the best player at the tournament, with Nika Radolović (Rijeka FC) named best goalkeeper and Stela Veseli (Zagreb FC) named the tournament's top goalscorer. The awards were handed out by HNS head instructor Petar Krpan, women's U-17 national team head coach Stella Gotal and women's U-19 national team head coach Božidar Miletić.
