Title holders Dinamo repeat Champions League success

Croatian champions GNK Dinamo Zagreb have once again reached the group stage of the most prestigious European club competition.
Following the 1:1 draw in Zagreb, Croatian title holders Dinamo have beaten Austrian champions Salzburg 2:1 in extra-time of the Champions League play-off second leg.
Salzburg have taken a first-half lead through Lazaro, but Fernandes managed to score in closing minutes to keep Dinamo alive, and Soudani dealt the decisive blow in extra-time.
Thus, Dinamo has successfully completed its qualifying campaign defeating Vardar, Dinamo Tbilisi and Salzburg, while Champions League group stage draw saw Croatian champions being paired with European powerhouse Juventus, Europa League winners Sevilla, and French giants Lyon, in Group H.
Last season, Dinamo also reached Champions League group stage and faced Bayern, Arsenal, and Olympiakos.
Group stage opens on 13/14 September, to be completed on 6/7 December. The Cardiff final is scheduled for 3 June 2017.
