Regional Meeting of Football Associations in Istanbul

At the regional meeting in Istanbul, Croatian Football Federation was represented by president Davor Šuker and executive director Damir Vrbanović.

During the Regional Meeting of Football Associations in Istanbul on 9 April 2016, hosted by Turkish Football Federation, attended by associations of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Russia, Serbia and Slovenia, the participating associations of the meeting, unanimously agree on the decisions taken below:

A working group is established in order to plan and draft the principles of cooperation amongst the associations presented in the group. The working group consists of Razvan Burleanu (from Romania), Kadir Kardaş (from Turkey), Aleš Zavrl (from Slovenia), Filip Popovski (from Macedonia), and Jasmin Baković (from Bosnia and Herzegovina).

The associations present also decided that the 13 associations will meet and discuss with the aim to have common position in matters relating to European football (UEFA) and world football (FIFA).

The associations present agree with FIFA Emergency Committee decisions on 5 April 2016 regarding the Greek Cup cancellation and support immediate reversal of the decision taken by the Greek government.
