Croatian Football Federation and its Football Academy, in cooperation with external associates, are organizing a goalkeeping coaches conference for the second consecutive year, the main topic being specific football goalkeeping preparations.
Last year, the International Goalkeeping Conference Croatia was a success. This year, Croatia Football Federation and its Football Academy, in cooperation with two young experts in respective field - Goran Boromisa and Marko Šarlija - are organizing the 2. International Goalkeeping Conference Croatia.
Last year's conference included approx. 80 participants from three continents, with seven lecturers from six European countries sharing their experience in goalkeeping coaching. This has set the quality bar very high, but the organizers intend to raise it even more.
Under the motto that only the best is good enough, the goalkeeping coaches' elite will be involved in this year's conference. Lectures will be given by Jose Sambade (Besiktas), John Achterberg (Liverpool), Nelson Pereira (Sporting), Carlo l'Ami (Ajax), Antonello Brambilla (Sampdoria), Roberto Navajas (Real Sociedad), Vatroslav Mihačić (HNS-CFF), Goran Boromisa (Dinamo), and Tihomir Bulat (Split).
"The names included in this year's conference guarantee another, higher lecturing level, the top of goalkeeping coaches' work. As organizers, we shall once again try to be good hosts, and I invite all Croatian and foreign coaches, as well as other goalkeeping experts, to come to Zagreb conference and enjoy a world-class performance", said the head of HNS Football Academy Vatroslav Mihačić.
The conference is scheduled 23 - 25 May 2016 in Zagreb, at HNS Football Academy training facilities in Sesvete.
The application form for accommodation at Hotel Phoenix is available here, while convenient accomodation is also available at Elez Rooms.
