HNS national football centre

The Croatian Football Federation’s national football centre in Velika Gorica will be a modern and functional sports complex featuring four football pitches, a stadium for youth and women’s national team matches, as well as an office building that will serve as the new administrative headquarters of the HNS.

Key milestones:

May 2023: The Government of the Republic of Croatia adopted a decision to donate land for the HNS national football centre
July 2023: HNS and the Government of the Republic of Croatia signed an agreement on the land donation for the construction of the national football centre
December 2023: Completion of the public tender and selection of the conceptual design, with the architectural studio Gradit appointed to develop the main project for the national football centre
May 2024: Location permit issued for the construction of the national football centre
August 2024: Building permit issued for the construction of the national football centre
November 2024: Public tender opened for the selection of the contractor
February 2025: Kamgrad selected as the contractor for the construction works
April 2025: Official groundbreaking ceremony for the future HNS national football centre
