Women's selection tournament held in Medulin

The selection tournament took place from December 14 to 16, with five team appearing at the tournament. The selection process was overseen by HNS head instructor Petar Krpan, and also included regional instructors Branka Juhas (Osijek Football Center), Božidar Miletić (Split Football Center), Marija Margareta Damjanović (Zagreb Football Center), Stella Gotal (North Football Center) and Hrvoje Matijević (Rijeka Football Center).

Ema Šulentić of Rijeka Football Center was named the tournament’s best player, while Marta Krasnić from Zagreb Football Center took the title of best goalkeeper. Karla Jelović (Split Football Center) was the tournament’s top goal-scorer.

The women’s selection tournament was financed through the FIFA Forward Development Fund.
