Dear media representatives, if you would like to receive information about the media activities of the Croatian national teams by email, register at [email protected] so that we can add you to the HNS mailing list.

ACCREDITATION FOR THE SUPERSPORT CROATIAN CUP FINAL

We would like to inform you that you can apply for accreditation for the SuperSport Croatian Cup final match between Dinamo and Rijeka until Tuesday, May 5 at 12:00. The match will be played on May 13, starting at 18:00, at Opus Arena stadium in Osijek.

Accreditation for the match is available exclusively via the web application on the Croatian Football Federation website:

https://hns.family/en/media/accreditations/

Please make sure to provide all requested information, including your personal identification number (OIB); otherwise, your application will not be processed. After submitting your request, you should automatically receive a confirmation email (if not, your application was not successfully submitted; please check your spam/junk folder). By May 8 at 20:00, you will receive notification of your application status and, if approved, information regarding the method and time of accreditation collection.

We would like to emphasize the option to request additional accreditations, in this case, parking. Please ensure that only one person per editorial office applies for a parking accreditation.

Kindly respect the stated deadline. The application will automatically close on May 5 at 12:00, and no late accreditations will be possible, even in exceptional cases.

Considering the expected high media interest in this match and the limited capacity of the media tribune, the Croatian Football Federation will not be able to approve all requests. Priority will be given to national media that regularly follow the SuperSport Croatian Cup competition, as well as local Zagreb- and Rijeka-based media that regularly cover the finalist clubs. For the same reason, we kindly ask all editorial offices to respect the limit of a maximum of two journalists per outlet.

INFORMATION ON NATIONAL TEAM ACTIVITIES BEFORE AND DURING THE FIFA WORLD CUP 2026

Media representatives can find here information about the preliminary schedule of preparations and activities of the Croatia national team before and during the FIFA World Cup, in order to plan their own activities, travel, and stay.

Key dates:

18 May – Announcement of the provisional squad for the World Cup
25 May – Start of training camp (Rijeka)
1 June – Announcement of the final squad for the World Cup
2 June – Croatia vs Belgium (Rijeka)
6 June – Training in Rijeka and departure for Zagreb
7 June – Croatia vs Slovenia (Varaždin)
9 June – Charter flight from Zagreb to Washington

Key locations:

Preparation camp hotel: Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort & Spa
Training facilities during preparations: HNK Rijeka Stadium & HNK Rijeka Training Camp “Dean Šćulac”
Group stage hotel: AKA Alexandria
Training centre during the group stage (including media centre): Episcopal High School

The national team will travel to Dallas two days before the match (15 June – afternoon travel / training that morning at the base camp), and to Toronto and Philadelphia one day before the matches (morning travel / afternoon training sessions at the host city training centres). After all three matches, the team will return the same evening to the team base camp in Alexandria, where media activities will take place the following day (most likely in the first part of the day).

After the group stage, all teams leave their base camps and move to the cities where their next matches are played. If Croatia advances, the team will travel to the Round of 16 match two days before the game.

In line with previous major tournaments, the national team will mostly hold training sessions in the afternoon (both during training camp and the tournament). As a rule, the team will have daily media activities (press conferences or mixed zones), generally linked to training times, and held at the media centre organized at the Episcopal High School. During the World Cup, pre-match press conferences will take place at the stadiums where matches are played (independently of training sessions, which will not be held at stadiums).

This schedule is preliminary and subject to change. A detailed plan of activities with exact timings and locations will be published at the end of April or the beginning of May, as is customary for major competitions.

Access to the training centre and media centre at the Episcopal High School will be granted to media accredited by FIFA and/or the Croatian Football Federation. Information about the Croatian FA accreditation process will be published here during April.

ACCREDITATIONS FOR FIFA WORLD CUP 2026

Information on the media accreditation process for the FIFA World Cup 2026, which will be held in Canada, Mexico, and the USA, and which FIFA will conduct in cooperation with the national associations.

The accreditation process via the FIFA Media Hub will open on Monday, January 26, and will remain open until March 31 of this year.

These instructions apply to representatives of the written press (print, online, news agencies) and photographers from Croatian media. FIFA will handle the accreditations for the following international agencies: AFP, EFE, AP, dpa, EPA, Getty Images, Jiji Press, Kyodo News, PA, Reuters, and Xinhua. All non-rights-holding TV and radio media (television, radio, social media – anyone recording video or audio content) should NOT apply through this process. The number of accreditations for such non-right-holders will be strictly limited, and match access will be defined by FIFA at a later stage. For additional questions on this matter, please contact: [email protected]

To apply for accreditation, you will need the following:

1. Access to the FIFA Media Hub, approved by FIFA

2. A Control Key, approved by the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) via FIFA’s system

FIFA MEDIA HUB

If you do not yet have access to the FIFA Media Hub, please apply for registration at:
https://media.fifa.com/registration

After submitting your application, FIFA will require some time to approve it, so we recommend completing this registration in advance. Please note that successful registration for the FIFA Media Hub does NOT constitute an application for World Cup accreditation.

CONTROL KEY

To obtain a Control Key, please apply for accreditation no later than February 10 by sending an email to:
[email protected]

In your email, please include the first name, last name, email address, and role of all members of your editorial team you wish to register.

Between February 10 and February 20, the HNS Communications Department will determine the list of approved media representatives and send them their Control Keys via FIFA’s system. If the number of applications exceeds FIFA’s quota for Croatian media, the final list will be determined in consultation with the Croatian Sports Journalists’ Association (HZSN).

ACCREDITATION APPLICATION

Once you receive your Control Key, you will be able to apply for World Cup accreditation through your user account on the FIFA Media Hub until March 31 of this year.

After this date, FIFA will send confirmations of approved accreditations along with additional information.

The FIFA Media Hub will also open the option to apply for individual group-stage matches shortly after the accreditation process begins. Media representatives who submit an accreditation application will also be able to apply for individual matches (i.e., before the main accreditation is confirmed).

VISAS AND ENTRY INTO HOST COUNTRIES

FIFA is not directly involved in the visa application process, but it will send all accredited media representatives detailed information about the visa regimes in the host countries. In addition, HNS will hold meetings with the U.S. and Canadian embassies in Croatia, and by the end of January we will inform you in detail about entry procedures and working regulations for media representatives in Canada and the USA.
