Terms of use (Semafor App)

Welcome to HNS Semafor ("the Application/ the App"), a mobile application supported on iOS and Android devices, in which you can find and follow the results of all levels of football competitions in Croatia, as well as schedules, rankings, squads, scorers' lists, statistics and other interesting information. The App also allows you to follow your favourite teams, players, leagues and matches, find individual profiles of players and clubs and receive notifications from matches of your favourites, such as a goal or the final result, when such an event is registered in COMET, the system through which competitions are conducted under the umbrella of the Croatian Football Federation. The App also provides access to news from the Croatian Football Federation directly from the App.

Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms").

By accessing or using the App, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or guardian to use the App.

2. Use of the App

The App provides statistical information and data related to football clubs, players, matches, and tournaments. This includes, but is not limited to, data on goals scored, red cards, assists, and other statistical metrics. All data is for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for any form of financial decision-making, betting, or wagering.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the App, you may need to register for an account. You must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Intellectual Property

The App and its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the intellectual property of Croatian Football Federation or its licensors.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the App or its content without prior written permission from Croatian Football Federation.

In case of unauthorized, impermissible and/or illegal use of any content (text, photos, software, audiovisual and musical works) of the App, the Croatian Football Federation reserves the right to claim compensation for all damages and initiate civil and criminal proceedings before the competent courts.

5. Data Accuracy and Disclaimer

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data provided by the App.

The App is provided on an "as-is" basis, and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the App.

Statistical data is subject to change based on the latest matches, transfers, and other factors, and we do not guarantee real-time updates.

6. Third Parties

Some statistics and data provided by the App may be sourced from third-party providers. We do not control or verify third-party data and are not responsible for its accuracy or reliability. Any reliance on third-party data is at your own risk.

The Application may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by CFF. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

7. Marketing materials

By using the App, you consent to the display of advertisements, including third-party advertising, on the App.

8. Limitation of Liability

The App and all content, data, and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• The accuracy, reliability, or availability of any data or statistics provided.
• Any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Croatian Football Federation or any of its officers, directors or employees will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the App, including but not limited to the reliance on any information provided.

9. User Conduct

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App and the data it provides for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

• Copy, distribute, or modify any part of the App or the data provided without written consent from us.
• Use the data for any commercial purposes, including but not limited to betting, financial decision-making, or trading.
• Use any automated systems (such as bots or spiders) to access or manipulate data provided by the App.

You agree not to use the App to:

• Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or offensive;
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App;
• Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.

10. Privacy Policy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Republic of Croatia.
