Brazil selected to host FIFA Women's World Cup
Kustić: "The world appreciates Croatian football"

At the 74th FIFA Congress, it was decided that the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2027 will be hosted by Brazil.
The host selection for the FIFA Women's World Cup was the most interesting and most important topic of the FIFA Congress in Bangkok.
The FIFA members decided the select Brazil as the host, with 119 votes, over the Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands bid - that was supported by 78 countries. Therefore, the 10th edition of the FIFA Women's World Cup will be hosted by a South American country for the first time, with Spain as the defending champions.

The FIFA Congress approved the 2023 financial report, the 2025 budget and the amendments of the FIFA Statutes. Croatian Football Federation delegation was led by president Marijan Kustić, and included general secretary Tomislav Svetina, head of international affairs Josip Tomaško and FIFA Governance, Audit and Compliance Committee Ivančica Sudac.
"We're happy to see how FIFA fully supports the development of the game throughout the world, through its activities and invenstments. At bilateral and informal meetings, we have once again confirmed the reputation of the HNS and Croatian football, because the whole world appreciates our results and great players, that were developed from our small base", said president Kustić.
